Our commitment
Gold River Pediatric Dentistry is committed to making our website usable for as many visitors as reasonably possible, including visitors with disabilities. We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA, as a guiding standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we welcome feedback so we can continue to improve.
Measures we take
To support an accessible experience on this website, we generally aim to:
- Use semantic HTML, descriptive headings, and ARIA labels where helpful
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative imagery
- Maintain reasonable color contrast for text and important interface elements
- Support keyboard navigation, with a visible focus indicator on interactive elements
- Respect the user's "reduced motion" preference for animations
- Use a responsive layout that adapts to a range of screen sizes and supports browser zoom
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, parts of this website may not be fully accessible to everyone. Examples include:
- Third-party content. Embedded content from third parties, such as online forms, virtual office tours, video players, and maps, is provided by other companies and may not meet the same accessibility standards as the rest of the site.
- Documents. Some downloadable documents, including older PDF forms, may not be fully tagged for screen readers. Where possible, we provide HTML or alternative versions, and we are happy to make information available in another format on request.
- User-generated and dynamic content. New content and features are added over time. We make a good-faith effort to apply accessible practices, but issues may occasionally appear before they are caught and resolved.
Alternative ways to reach us
If any part of our website is not accessible to you, or if you would prefer to communicate with our office in a different way, you can always contact us by phone or in person. Our team is happy to read information aloud, take an appointment request by phone, or work with you to find another way to communicate.

Feedback and requests
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion for improvement, please let us know. When reporting an issue, it helps to include:
- The URL or page where the issue occurred
- A description of what you were trying to do and what happened
- The device, browser, and any assistive technology you were using, if known
We will do our best to acknowledge your message in a reasonable time and to address the issue or provide an alternative way to access the information or service.
Standards and assessment
We periodically review the website using a combination of automated testing tools and informal manual checks. Automated tools cannot identify every accessibility issue, so we treat their results as guidance rather than as a substitute for the experience of real users. This statement reflects our current goals and known limitations and is not a representation of full conformance with any specific standard.
Changes to this statement
We may update this Accessibility Statement from time to time as our website evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent changes.
