5. Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to make the Site work, to understand how visitors use it, and, where you consent, to support marketing. We group these into the following categories:
- Strictly necessary: required for the Site to function. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics and performance: help us understand which pages are useful and where we should improve.
- Marketing and advertising: support advertising campaigns and measurement, including audiences and remarketing.
- Functional embeds: third-party content embedded on the Site, such as maps and virtual office tours.
The first time you visit the Site, you are presented with a cookie banner. You can accept all categories, reject non-essential categories, or customize your choice. You can change your choice at any time by selecting Cookie preferences in the footer. Your most recent choice is stored on your device.
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal on your first visit, we treat it as a request to opt out of analytics, marketing, and functional cookies, and we do not show you the banner.
6. How we share information
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We may share information collected through the Site in the following ways:
- Service providers. We use third parties to host the Site, send emails, host forms, host the virtual office tour, embed maps, and provide analytics and advertising services. These providers process information on our behalf under contracts that limit their use of the information to the services they provide to us.
- Legal and safety. We may share information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, protect the safety of patients or staff, or enforce our legal rights.
- Business transfers. If we sell, merge, or transfer all or part of our practice, we may share information as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
- With your direction. We may share information with other parties at your specific request or with your consent.
Some advertising and analytics services we use may collect information about your activity on this Site and combine it with information about your activity on other sites or apps to deliver relevant advertising or measurement. Under California law, this may be considered "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out by selecting "Reject non-essential" in our cookie banner, by adjusting your settings under "Cookie preferences," or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser. Our cookie banner respects these signals automatically.
